Bridging Legacy and Law: Black Leadership in Justice and Community
As Black History Month marks 100 years of collective memory, organizing, and resistance, we are proud to share that our President and CEO, Nikki Gaskin-Capehart, will serve as the keynote speaker for “Bridging Legacy and Law: Black Leadership in Justice and Community,” hosted by the Stetson Law Black Law Students Association in partnership with Pinellas County Urban League.
This conversation comes at an important moment. This gathering creates space to reflect on what leadership in justice and community looks like today and what it demands moving forward. President Capehart's work has always lived at the intersection of advocacy, access, and accountability, and her voice speaks directly to the responsibility leaders carry to show up for the communities they serve.
Join us Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Stetson University College of Law in the Mann Lounge. Dinner will be served. We invite students, community members, and emerging leaders to be part of a conversation that honors legacy while asking real questions about how we lead with purpose now.
