S.T.Y.L.E. (Summer Training in Youth Leadership & Employment)
Get ready to unlock your future with STYLE, an exhilarating program funded by the City of St. Petersburg!
The S.T.Y.L.E. program provides an expansive and immersive experience aimed at equipping youth with essential workplace skills and leadership capabilities.
This year, the program will enroll twenty-five (25) youth, ages 14 to 16.
The program will begin on July 15th and conclude July 31st and will be housed at the Pinellas County Urban League headquarters, 333 31st Street North, St. Petersburg.
Workshop sessions will take place Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The program covers entrepreneurship, financial literacy, team building, problem-solving, critical thinking, effective business communication, professional appearance, and maintaining a professional demeanor. The participants are given the tools they need to succeed in future academic and professional settings.
This program is income-based, and applicants will be required to provide documentation verifying income eligibility.
