Sowing Seeds Tennis, the Childs Park Neighborhood Association and the Wildwood Heights Neighborhood Association invite families to celebrate community, family and freedom during the Neighborhoods Unite Edition of the Labor Day Family Field Day and Cookout.

The event will bring Childs Park and Wildwood Heights together for a friendly neighborhood competition filled with sports, games, food, music and community resources. Families can participate in field day activity stations, basketball, softball and an all-ages tennis clinic. Younger children can enjoy the Kids Zone, while older adults can participate in activities in the Senior Activity Zone.

Activities include

• Basketball for ages 9 and older

• Softball for ages 9 and older

• An all-ages tennis clinic sponsored by Sowing Seeds Tennis

• Field day games and activity stations

• A Kids Zone for children under age 9

• A Senior Activity Zone

• Community resources and giveaways

• Music by DJ Supa Dave

• Lunch and a community cookout
