The YIGBY & Faith-Based Housing Development Process Workshop will help faith communities move from mission-based interest to a practical understanding of how their property may be positioned for affordable housing development.
Participants will explore local housing needs, development models, site feasibility, partnership structures, financing and the steps needed to move from early interest to development readiness. The workshop will also provide guidance on team roles, predevelopment resources and the long-term stewardship of a housing project.
Congregations interested in continuing after the workshop will learn about the Nonprofit Capacity Building Institute, a phased training pathway designed to strengthen organizational readiness, refine project ideas and prepare participants for future development opportunities.
