Urban Seniors Jobs Program Multi-County Workforce Recruitment Drive
The Urban Seniors Jobs Program will host a Multi-County Workforce Recruitment Drive on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This hybrid event is designed to connect adults age 55 and older with job training, workforce support, and employment opportunities across the region.
The event will be hosted live in Pasco County and simulcast to participating CareerSource locations in Hernando County, Lake Sumter in Leesburg, Marion in Ocala, and Seminole in Sanford. Participants can attend in person at any of the listed locations and receive support from USJP staff.
Attendees will hear an introduction to the Urban Seniors Jobs Program, learn about program benefits and eligibility requirements, and explore training opportunities available to older adults who are re-entering the workforce or seeking a new path. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to complete a pre-screening and may be able to enroll on site with guidance from the USJP team.
This event is open to adults 55 and older who are looking for employment and job training opportunities. Light refreshments, including water and fruit, will be available at each location.
