PCUL Parent University Pop-In and Youth Program Night

  • Pinellas County Urban League 333 31st Street North St. Petersburg, FL, 33713 United States (map)

PCUL Parent University Pop-In and Youth Program Night brings families together each month for an evening of learning, support, and connection at the Pinellas County Urban League. Designed to serve both parents and youth, this recurring event offers practical tools, helpful resources, and program information that encourage growth, preparation, and long-term success for the whole family.

Parents will hear from PCUL CEO Nikki Gaskin-Capehart, learn about the National Urban League Virtual Financial Empowerment App, receive information on recovery assistance and voter registration, and take part in workshops created to strengthen and support families. Youth will have the opportunity to explore Project Ready, learn more about the S.T.E.P. Program, and connect with additional opportunities centered on leadership, training, and empowerment.

This month’s featured guest speaker is Leo Passley, Black pilot and aviation professional, who will share his personal journey, offer insight into careers in aviation, and encourage youth to consider the possibilities available in the field. Food will be provided.
