Mobile Health Unit

The National Urban League has a strategic approach to eliminating health disparities in the African American community by introducing new awareness and prevention programs, expanding existing outreach initiatives, and connecting clients to high quality care. Highways to Health is an initiative (currently on hiatus) program that  provides Waist Watchers Workshops and our brand new Mobile Medical Unit. This unit will travel county-wide visiting shopping centers, churches, parks, community center, shelters and apartment complexes to:

The Pinellas County Urban League and its partners are on a mission to improve access to and knowledge of quality health care within medically undeserved communities  of the County. We are thrilled to play such a major role with our community partners in transforming the health landscape of Pinellas County!
