State of Black Health Task Force Inaugural Meeting

Dear Health Equity Champion,

The devastating losses suffered due to COVID 19 have become a painful spotlight, highlighting long-existing health disparities that have impacted the well-being of Black residents in Pinellas County.  While painful to acknowledge, it is essential for us to collectively confront these injustices and create solutions to eliminate them from the fabric of our community for good.  Join us for the very first State of Black Health Task Force meeting to help lay the foundation for the Task Force’s vision and agenda focused on eliminating health inequities.  Together, we can ensure that the State of Black Health in Pinellas is always strong!

Our fight for the health and wellness of Pinellas’ African-American community is more important now than ever before. Though delayed due to the pandemic, our State of Black Health Task Force is ready to begin organizing and working to ensure that lives and legacies of our Black neighbors are undergirded by the most important and essential factor - good health.
