Summer Youth Work Readiness Program

The Pinellas County Urban Leagues' Youth Development Department provide work readiness skills through the summer to students ages 14-16. Participants receive a broad overview, specific instruction and hands on-training in workplace related skill sets such as entrepreneurship, finances, team building, problem solving, critical thinking, effective business communications, professional appearance and professional demeanor. The program has partnered with St. Petersburg PTEC Career Technologies and the St. Petersburg College Allstate Center in providing learning space and exploration of career opportunities through interactive activities. This program is funded by the City of St. Petersburg.
